Fall 2020 Projected Plan

Please understand that our Fall 2020 plan is obviously contingent on what we are allowed to do from a health and safety standpoint and what is available/allowable by the organizations we will be participating with. It is a fluid situation and can change quickly depending on current protocols as we have all experienced seemingly daily. As of now we are able to use the Henderson Fields for August and as you will see below, the fall league/tournament schedule is being worked on in hopes that we will be able to continue to use the Henderson fields for league/tournament play beginning in September.
AUGUST SCHEDULE:
We will continue to hit in the cage in early August, and then we will transition to field practices, cage sessions, and full team scrimmages beginning August 12, 2020. For the most part it will look as follows for August...
Mondays - Cage sessions - Players TBD
Wednesdays - Field practice
Fridays - Field practice
Saturday mornings - Scarlet/Steel/Black Full Team Scrimmages
FALL 2020 CURRENT PLAN
August 2020 - Practices/Cage Sessions/Scrimmages
September 2020 - November 2020 : We have registered for Vegas Valley League Play at the 14/16/18U age groups. There are several High School club organizations registered for league play. They are limiting the amount of teams to 12-14 teams per age bracket. We have secured a spot at each age bracket and if the league goes on as planned, we will be playing weeknight games, likely 2X per week at each age bracket. Several players will be needed to play at more than 1 age bracket
TOURNAMENT PLAY - We will plan on entering 2 teams at each age bracket for fall weekend tournament play beginning the weekend of 9/5/20 and ending the weekend before Thanksgiving. Once the tournament dates are finalized, I will send out a projected tournament schedule for the Fall.
Fees and Costs for League/Tournament Play will be posted at a later time once we have confirmation that the league/tournaments will actually go on.
Also, we will do everything we can to try to promote safety at our practices, cage sessions and scrimmages. Everyone understands that there is an inherent risk right now participating in cage, practice, scrimmage sessions, and we completely understand if anyone might not feel comfortable participating at this time. If that is the case, simply just let me know privately. No worries at all if that is your situation.
We understand that everyone is anxious to get back to practices/games and we will do everything we can to provide baseball to the boys under the current allowable rules. Please understand that what we are allowed to do is reliant on local governmental protocols and is for the most part out of our control
